Today I've taken a really huge step (for me, anyway)! I am reaching out by means of this website and blog to connect with others who are seeking to deepen life's experience, to add textures of beauty and connection and to simply feel the gratitude and blessing of the gifts we receive each day. The reason it's a huge step is that, even though I've been working with/teaching/consulting/playing with computers since the advent of the Apple II (my age is showing here), there's something about making yourself open and vulnerable to the whole blogosphere that just feels uncomfortable. It's a necessary letting go of self to step outside that comfort zone and offer an idea, a poem or photo or small piece of yourself, without knowing who will find it. Sort of a virtual message in a bottle that you are floating out on the sea of life and you have absolutely no way to know who, if anyone, will find it or when. For me, blogging is like that. I've set up a website and blog, posted a few comments, created some links, put some meaningful picutres in, but haven't really "put it out there" via social networking and other means, with the exception of a few close friends. Why not? Fear. Of being lost in the vastness of the electronic ocean? Yes. Of being cast aside like flotsam? Yes. Of having something to say, but no one is listening? Yup. Well. Today is the day. And I'm going for it, 100%. Somebody please comment, so I get over this lost on a deserted island feeling...throw me a line :)

You're not alone, my friend. What you have to share is and will be inspiration to us all. Love you, :-)

Thank you! As long as we enjoy the ride, as James Taylor would sing it. At this point it is equal parts inspiration and perspiration as I go through the learning process. Maybe the sweat will speed the slide? I'm game!

Hi Karen...Phyllis & I were listening to some beautiful music and it made us think of you and the wonderful presence you made at Unity of Naples. We now go to Unity in Ft. Myers and see some old Naples friends there--Pamela & Roberta. We hope you're doing well. Love your website.............jack
